– Stefanie Magnusun

“No one has worked harder through her personal health challenges than Imei to make it possible for her to do the things she enjoys, and then she has gone on to help others. I’m proud that she has not let autoimmune disease stop her from achieving her goals.”

– Michael Covey, Professional Endurance Coach: UltraMCEndurance.com

Speaking Topics

I have delivered speeches about DAF at Women of Resilliance, New Orleans (2015), Creativity and Madness, Vancover BC (2017), and at the Gluten Intolerance Group, aka GIG, in Renton, WA (2017).

Making Food Fun Again

After being diagnosed with two autoimmune disease and discovering that I had over 300 food allergies, fueling my body was a real drag. Your life doesn’t have to stop just because your food choices must change. The purpose of this presentation is to show the audience how to heal yourself with the real food while fueling the adventures of a lifetime.

Depression, Anxiety, and Fatigue (DAF): Healing and Treating the Betty Crocker Syndrome

Most of us know that we should be eating real food, but when push comes to shove it far too easy to grab some potato chips at the local store so that we can make it to our next meal. However, that food can disease impact our mood. This presentation compares symptoms of mood disorders against common problems with nutritional deficits when people eat convenience and grab-and-go foods and offer solutions to how to avoid the grab and go syndrome.

Women, Food, and Mood

This presentation seeks to dive deep into the connection between what women eat and the rise in mood disorders and autoimmune disease. With 75% of people with Autoimmune Disease being women, and women being tasked with the role of preparing family meals, this presentation would be a great addition to a women’s health or women’s mental health conference, as well as women in business conferences wanting to address work-life balance issues.
